CEREMONY
When planning positions, consider the sun. If there’s strong light, the groom should face it to avoid the bride squinting. Best option: backlit ceremony.
Enforce a no-phone rule for guests during the ceremony.
Ensure the officiant steps out of the frame before announcing the kiss, not the other way around.
Walk slowly down the aisle, don’t rush. A slower pace not only looks better on photos but also helps you soak in every moment.
When exchanging rings, slow down. Gently place the ring and pause for 2–3 seconds, look into each other’s eyes. It adds weight to the moment and looks beautiful.
For the first kiss, hold it a little longer than you’d think. It gives us time to capture different angles of this iconic moment.
The aisle can get crowded, especially with multiple photographers and videographers. If possible, ask content creators to stay on the sides or move with the team.
If you plan a dip/kiss when exiting, do it about two-thirds of the way down the aisle for the best shot.
Place live bands/dj/speakers at the back of the aisle to avoid visual distractions in key moments.
